Origins
The company was founded in 1917 and its early years mirrored Japan's economic development. In the beginning of its existence, the company made goods to meet demand for modern, 토지노 사이트 (

The company began expanding its operations overseas in the latter part of the 1980s to benefit from new markets and sales opportunities. The company created the Cera Trading Company to import and market other manufacturers' products in order to complement its own line of sanitary earthenwares and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and expanded the firm's market share in the world.
In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus to research and development of household appliances that use water. It also improved its distribution system to better serve the needs of its customers and to increase profits. The company implemented a just-in-time approach to managing its supply chain and applied the same methodology in its sales program. This resulted in a higher level of customer satisfaction.
Toto has been able to continue to innovate on the toilet technology. Its latest toilet has a strong, eco-friendly tornado flush. The company also uses recycled water in its production process and has a green purchasing policy. In addition to toilets Toto produces bathtubs and faucets, as well as hand dryers that are more energy efficient than conventional models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto's most famous products, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made from ceramics), the history of plumbing and even bath units. In a separate gallery you can view Toto products that are sold across the world. The museum also has the bathroom equipped with a WASHLET and other toilet innovations.
Before forming Toto members of the group performed sessions for a variety of musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name like Asia you'd expect the group to be prog kings and queens but they're actually a pretty straight forward rock group. The group was formed as a four-piece and released two albums that were self-titled in 1979 and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. Although the band have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest breakthrough was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, but not without its own set of issues. The record companies placed the band under pressure to deliver an album that was a success or they would rescind the album. Toto was able achieve this through the aid of the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before joining the group, the members worked as session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic signature has become the norm for pop music from the 1980s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album opens up hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly sink into your head. The album also includes some more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations. This song mixes folk and distorted AOR that could sound completely wrong but actually works very well.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes took a turn for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band had to go through several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the group in the wake of drug charges and the band continued as a trio with Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band had a successful chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was an ode to the classic sextet format, and a more consistent, stronger effort with a harder edge. The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the development of the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard work was as well more refined, more precise, and less derivative on previous efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live concert in Amsterdam which was released as a set of two CDs titled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a new studio album just a few months after and embarked on a world tour help promote the album. During this period keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 1998, Paich & Lukather began looking through old tapes and demos to discover songs that hadn't been recorded prior to. It was completed in 2001 as a duo album titled Then & Now. It was the first album by the band not to feature any single song that had the word "A" in its title. It also included one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New was not a commercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis, which restricted his singing capabilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville and drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes along with the other members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer,
안전놀이터 and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of officially reforming the group. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was busy with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band featured a special guest appearance from singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
