> Subaru Murata (Teiken), who made his professional debut in 2020 after winning four amateur boxing titles, faced Juan Centeno (Nicaragua) in a six-round super bantamweight bout on the 29th (local time 28th) at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, USA. Murata won by TKO after his opponent Juan Centeno withdrew after the third round.

He knocked his opponent down with a left uppercut in the middle of the second round and continued to attack afterwards. This marks his fifth consecutive KO victory since his debut. As an amateur, Murata won the National Comprehensive Athletic Meet and the All Japan Championships, and since going pro, he has continued to be undefeated as the hope of Teiken Gym.
