Third party developers on Facebook can ask to see your relationship status, religious beliefs and education history if you allow them to.
You can manage which apps have permission to view your information by heading to Facebook's 'app settings' page and scanning the 'logged in with Facebook' list.
To block third parties from accessing your data, select the 'x' next to apps you'd rather stay out of your profile.
