The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position, or they can swivel. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, although it seemed slightly bumpier than other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits easily in the car's boot even with a carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.
