Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Some models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps however it could result in dangerous outcomes.

Some models are also more difficult to fold and store than others, which makes them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and heavy frame. This model also has a small canopy that some test users find disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold down with one button and pulling the lever. It is also a great option for parents who are planning on using their car seats on vehicles of other people as it can be removed from the base and attached to any standard stroller.

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to unfold and fold the car seat, whether you're storing it in your trunk, or in a closet. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are sturdy enough to use on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver and glide effortlessly over uneven surfaces. Certain combos are only connected and removed using straps. This can feel like a second step and could make it difficult for parents to secure their car seat properly.

We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its handy features and sturdy construction which include a large storage basket that can be accessed from the front to back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to secure a car seat installation by simply connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then putting the carrier in the base.

It's also relatively lightweight and compact, making it an excellent choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 in 1 stroller car seat Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored well in our ease-of-use tests. Both feature a single front wheel that's easy to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable swing wheel, which is ideal for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're heavy pram and stroller 2 in 1 therefore it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in a car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combinations are difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It includes a helpful guide. Other models we looked at, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to put together. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also very heavy, which means it takes two hands to secure the carrier into the base and then remove it from the base.

In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz v2. This is a relatively quick procedure when you consider the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. The majority of these models come with an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, but there are other options as well.
